She received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Providence College in 2013 and finished her M.S. degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Brandeis University with laboratory experience focused on biotechnology in February of 2016. Since graduating from Brandeis, she had worked within the Systems Biology Department at Harvard Medical School.
